Reemus stared at the remaining of the group, his eyes settling on each of them, taking their faces in mind, as they had different reactions to his way of introduction. 'My name is Reemus Chief, Heat Magician, and I've been assigned to you as your new leader. I've heard what circumstances took place around the death of your previous leader and the journey that took you back to the castle, now allow me to tell you that the Generals take no such things in mind, and they will grant us with a new mission on the morrow. I require names and magical abilities, before I will discuss further strategic plans with Salsia Gane, who's the new Second in Command – his eyes moved to Absarc Lott, who seemed not to be very amused – and carries the Magic of Yellow.' He took a small pause, adjusting his sword, which took light the moment it slid from the shed. He placed the point at the ground, and leaned into it. 'As your new Commander, I tolerate no contradiction.'
A young boy with a difficult long face and thick dark brown hair took his step forward, eyes staring at Reemus with no sign of emotion. The Commander sure liked him already. 'Micheil Jabet, sir, Red Magician,' he introduced himself and received a nod from their new commander. He was the one that arrived from a different group to fill the thirteenth place.
'Pastew D'Tye,' a second voice said, and Reemus' eyes flashed towards a small boy with scruffy hair and a faint smile. 'Air Magic.'
His brother followed the example, but the smile had not lasted on his face. 'Eric D'Tye,' the man said, he seemed older than his brother, his hair thicker and longer, a dreamy face. 'Occupied Healer, Blue Magic,' he explained. One of the two Blue Magicians in the group, but Reemus could not remember Eric being said to be an Occupied Healer.
The group stood silent for a while, until one man stepped forward with a sigh, breaking the tension that was building up. 'Gythan Wuzto,' he said. His head held high, he had little hair on his head, and seemed fragile by the look of it. His voice broke into laughter. 'I sense that we've not been used to such an introduction before, sir. I'm a Star Magician, and allow me to introduce the remaining of the group?' he asked with a formal voice and a small bow.
Reemus shook his head. 'I find it more interesting when people introduce themselves, at means of getting to know you, Gythan,' he replied, hard voice, head moving towards Absarc and his two brothers.
'As you wish, sir,' Gythan replied, his shoulder reaching for the girl next to him.
Her hair was short, her eyes charming, and she seemed not to notice the moment until Gythan softly said her name. 'Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Lareasa Faitne,' she said with a kind smile, innocent little lady. 'I am a Water Magician.' At least her introduction existed of whole sentences.
The man besides her had a hard time getting his name over his lips, his head bowed. 'Belvus Castcar, sir,' he said. He seemed the youngest of them all, his face smooth like silk, eyes dark and full. His hair was black as night, on his cheeks grew a small beard. The darkness of his hair made his skin seem pale. 'Occupied Healer, like Eric.'
'I require your presence later on, Belvus, we have some things to discuss,' said Reemus, at which he tried to dismiss the emotion on the boy's face.
There was a small silence, and eyes turned to either Belvus, who stood still with his chin at his chest, or Reemus, who awaited the next. A tall, tough man stepped forward, he had short hair, small eyes and had a face as if he wanted to slash things apart. 'Leadon Lott, Rock Magician,' he said at first, and Reemus had thought that the end of it, but the man had more to say. 'A Commander should be a leader, not a damn…'
'Leadon!' Absarc gave his brother a smack on the head, and the younger brother shut his mouth. 'I'm sorry, sir.'
Reemus only nodded, he had no time for quarrels, Salsia would talk to the boy later on.
'Amean Dorian,' said the tall man next to Leadon, with a small smile. He wore hat, and was dressed in casual clothing, like all of them were. Magicians never really needed body protection, it was said, yet some did use it. 'I'm an Animal Magician.'
The Commander nodded, impressed. Animal Magic was one of the strongest kinds of Magic, just below White and Black Dragon Magic. And these days, the kind of Magic was most important.
'Merda Gozek,' a new voice trembled to be heard. The youngest, as Reemus had heard. His hair was muddy, and the boy had to use his hands to regain sight. It had to be cut, that was for sure. 'White Magic.'
All but one had introduced themselves, the last was a boy with a face similar to that of Leadon, their little brother. Though the boy seemed to have no intention to speak. 'And who are you?' Reemus asked.
The boy looked up, he had scruffy hair, a sad face and a small beard. His eyes were adjusting to the sudden movement, and he opened his mouth to answer. 'Timothan Lott, sir,' the boy answered, a voice that fell apart. 'White Dragon Magician.'
Only a grin covered Reemus' face now. He had one of the strongest Magicians in his team, how amusing. 'You are dismissed.'
