Heavy footsteps broke through the halls of Liviohon Castle as the morning had passed the skies and placed a dark grey sky upon the city like a dark cloak that was wet and dangerous. All had seen the rain coming, the summer was high and inflicted the land with thunderous storms once every so many days. The great city of the Trolls had not known so much rain in the hundred years past, but for their long ages, it was nothing but a bad year. The gods were not angry, rain was not their work, nor would it ever be.

Reemus Chief carried on, wearing heavy chainmail, his hands sticking to his shaded long sword, covered in blood red diamonds, a present from his father the day he reached the rank of high Commander. He had complicated the battle at Stonbreach, a city at the borders of the Kingdom of the WoodElves. It had only more covered his will to separate himself from the likes of others.

He wore a red velvet shirt over his mail, his hair had been gelled backwards, a tight red scarf around his strong neck. The summer sun had not browned his body, he had spent too much time wandering to the halls of the castle, waiting on his new group to arrive.

The group he was assigned to had been the one attacking HagaFosiel about a month ago, their leader was killed during the attack, ripped apart by two Lycans. Two of the Magicians in the group never returned to do their duties at the capital of Trolian, they were marked deserters, and Reemus knew all too well what it meant. As Commander of a Knightgroup, he had many casualties, and most of them weren't very pretty.

His last remaining steps echoed through the hallway as he stepped through the door, and into the courtyard. It was a small open place, surrounded by the castle and it's fences. At the side to the North stood a small stable, a few horses were tied up there.

Reemus had not met his new group before, only one, and she had not been in contact with them either. But they were a strange bunch: two brothers, three brothers, a stammering BloodHunter, one closed half of a twin, and three innocent looking kids. Most were half his age, some even younger than that.

'In line!' he yelled when his smooth bleached skin stepped into the grey skies, that shone down upon them, heavily drifting over the city. 'And make it fast.'

There was movement among the Magicians that sat around the place, some together in groups, one alone at the side, and another ready to greet him as he entered.

Salsia Gane had been placed below him as Second in Command, would anything go wrong, she would take his place in bringing the group safely home. Their last Second in Command had been Absarc Lott, but he was taken off his position since it had taken him a month to get the group home. However, Reemus knew of some of the complications that fell upon them as they tried their route home, but many had been left unspoken.

The small black haired girl smiled only once, before her dark eyes moved to the standing line of Magicians. 'I see no line in that!' she said with a bark.

One man stepped forward, he was dressed in a leather jacket, buttoned up, and jeans that had been ripped at the end. His hair was greasy, sticking to his fairly handsome face. He looked somehow lost. Reemus figured it would be Absarc, a man that set his head out for the group, but he would not tolerate such.

'I feel such tone is unnecessary, we're Magicians alike, no ordinary soldiers,' the man said, his voice loud and clear.

Reemus found some truth in that, but he would not be a good commander for chatting with his employers. He grabbed the man's hand rapidly, his own Magic chewing at his, an undying flame, hot as the sun.

Absarc struggled to free himself, but found his strength not enough. A rash of light flew from his hand, blinding Reemus only shortly, allowing the old Second in Command to push him away. 'What is this treachery!?' he yelled in anger. He had certainly not been aware of such a greeting.

'This is me getting to know you,' answered Reemus, while he brushed the blindness from his eyes.
